Collaboration in RFQs and RFQ Quotes

You can add collaborators to an RFQ when shopping as a group or when you need to share an RFQ with colleagues.

Adding Collaborators to an RFQ
If collaboration is configured for an RFQ form, you can add a collaborator to an RFQ when initiating an RFQ for a supplier.
- Search and select users in the Collaboration Detailsfield.NoteOnly active users in your system are available to be added to the RFQ.
- Once the collaborators have been selected and the form has been submitted, the selected users will be collaborators on the RFQ and for any Quotes created in response to the RFQ.
- The collaborators are notified via email of their collaboration on the RFQ.
A collaborator can view, edit and cancel the RFQ. The collaborator can also view, access, and act on Quotes created in response to the RFQ from the RFQ details page. The collaborators receives all email notifications related to the RFQ and the RFQ Quotes.
Edit Collaborators
Remove or add collaborators from the RFQ in the RFQ detail page.
- Remove a collaborator by clicking the x next to a name.NoteWhen a collaborator is removed from a RFQ an email notification is sent informing them of their removal from the RFQ. The removed collaborator stops receiving all email notifications related to the RFQ and RFQ Quotes.
- Add a collaborator through search and select.
- A collaborator who is not the owner of the RFQ can stop collaborating by accessing the RFQ details page and clicking Leave Group.
Identifying a Collaborative RFQ
Collaborative RFQs are labeled with the Collaboration icon next to the RFQ identifier.
Viewing RFQ Collaborators for a Supplier User
When a supplier creates a quote in response to a RFQ, the supplier can view all the collaborators on the quote.
