    Overview

    Reconciliation Rules may be set up for Credit Memos, and, when a rule is triggered for a Credit Memo, it is in Reconciliation Needed status. 

    Note

    Configurations in Credit Memo Reconciliation Rules may allow exceptions to be auto cleared. Auto cleared exceptions are listed in the Credit Memo History for Credit Memos available from the Credit Memo Grid.

    Reconcile Credit Memo Grid

    Users who have permission to reconcile Credit Memos have access to the Credit Memo Reconciliation Grid from the PAYABLES section of the Main Menu at Reconcile Credit Memos.

    View Credit Memo

    Click on View for any Credit Memo in the Grid to view Credit Memo Details.

    1. Choose Save as PDF or Reconcile from I want to ...
    2. Access Related Records, to reference related Requests, Purchase Orders, Invoices or Credit Memos. 

    Reconcile Credit Memo

    The Credit Memo details display the exception(s) at Header and/or Line Level. The reconciler viewing the Credit Memo may  approve or deny the exceptions. 

    Users who are not the reconciler may view the Exceptions.

    1. View Related Records for reference, if necessary.
    2. Exceptions are listed in red at Header and/or Line Levels.
    3. Use the check mark to Approve or red x to Deny.
      When all the Exceptions are approved, the Credit Memo moves to the status of Pending Approval or OK to Pay.
      When the Exception is denied, the Credit Memo moves to Denied status. 
    4. A list of documents relevant to the Credit Memo displays, and includes the Purchase Order, all Credit Memos created against it that are not in Denied status, and any Invoices and Receipts, listed in ascending order. The current Credit Memo is highlighted in yellow with the status Currently Reconciling
