View Advance Ship Notices (ASNs)

Advanced Ship Notices (ASNs) are sent depending on supplier and item type, and can be referenced to track expected receipt and other details.

View Advance Ship Notices created by the suppliers in MY DOCUMENTS > Advance Ship Notices.

View the details of the items expected to be shipped by the supplier along with shipment information.

Advanced Ship Notice Grid

Advanced Ship Notices (ASNs) for some items, depending on supplier and product type, will be sent.

An ASN updates requesters/recipients on the status of the Purchase Order, and is especially helpful if delivery arrangements need to be made.

View the ASN details from the grid or by navigating to the Purchase Order and viewing the related ASN in Related Records.

Advanced Ship Notice Details

Users can access the details for an ASN by clicking on a specific ASN from the grid. 

ASN details include: 

1. General Information consisting of the shipping date, expected delivery date, shipment #, carrier name, tracking number, tracking URL and the From/To shipping addresses.
2. Line-level item information including the details of the item that was shipped and the quantity.
3. Ability to add attachments and comments, if necessary.
