Saved Shopping Lists

Create and use Saved Shopping Lists when you need to reorder or when you need to reference the purchase of a set of items into the future.
Overview
You can save a cart as a shopping list for a number of different purposes:
- Reordering a set of items;
- Maintaining a wish list or a set of preferred items; or
- For reference for specific situations or future shopping.
Shopping lists are created and accessed by individual users.
Allow Multiple Saved Shopping Lists
The limit for saved shopping lists is set site-wide at 10 when multiple Saved Shopping Lists are enabled.
Enable multiple Saved Shopping Lists at System Administration > Settings and Configuration > Manage System Configurations > Marketplace > General Configuration > General Options
View Saved Shopping Lists
You can view Saved Shopping Lists when you view the contents of the Mini Cart at the top of any page:
The Saved Shopping Lists section of your Home Page also displays your most recent Shopping Lists.
- To access a Shopping List page and view the details in the list, click on any Shopping List displayed.
You can view Product Details, Add Items to a Cart or Remove Items from the selected Shopping List. - To add items from the Saved Shopping List to your cart, click on Add to Cart or Add All to Cart.
- To view all of your Saved Shopping Lists, click on View All.
Save Item to a Shopping List
You can Save any in-stock Item to a new or existing Shopping Listfrom its detail page.
- An Item with the status of Out of Stock or Available by Quote Only cannot be added to a Saved Shopping List.
- Linked items are not saved to Shopping Lists, but when a product with a linked item is in a Saved Shopping List that is added to a cart, the items linked to it will be added to the cart.
- Click on Saved Shopping Lists.
- Create a new Shopping List by typing a name and clicking on the plus + sign.
- Add the new item to an existing list by clicking on a list name.
Save a Cart as a Shopping List
When you're viewing a cart, you can save the contents as a Shopping List to use again.
- Click on Save Shopping List.
- Provide a name for your new Saved Shopping List.
- Click the plus sign+ to save and display the new Shopping List.
- You can delete the Shopping List.
- You can add all the items from the Shopping List to a Shopping Cart.
- You can add individual items to a cart or
- Remove them from the Shopping List.
- Note that Back Ordered/Pre-ordered items can be included in a Saved Shopping List.
Punchout Supplier Items Cannot be Saved to a Shopping List
Items from Punchout Suppliers cannot be saved to Shopping Lists to avoid situations where an unavailable item is added to a cart.
When a cart is added to a Saved Shopping List, any item from a Punchout Supplier in the cart will generate a warning message, as shown below.
Items from Punchout Suppliers in a cart do not offer the option of Save to List.
Out of Stock or Available by Quote Only Items in a Saved Shopping List
When a Saved Shopping List includes an item that is Out of Stock or Available by Quote Only, that status displays in the QTY column. You can View Details for that item, but it cannot be added to a cart.
You can remove or retain the Out of Stock or Available by Quote Only item in the Shopping Cart.
Adding All to Cart results in all the in-stock items being added to the current cart with the following status messages.
- Message confirming addition of item to shopping cart from the name of the Saved Shopping List.
- Warning message stating that an Item in the Saved Shopping List is out of stock.
Items from a Disabled Supplier in a Saved Shopping List
Items from a disabled Supplier are not visible in a Saved Shopping List.
When there is an attempt to recorder an item that is itself either disabled or if from a disabled Supplier, a message displays:
Items [SKU Number] are from a supplier that is no longer available and cannot be added to Cart.
